When servicing your vehicle, you should check the horn, gauges, safety warning device, lights, and cabin, power steering system, and inject grease into the power steering system. If an abnormal failure occurs, causing unsafety, the forklift should be re-inspected.
Next you check the battery system, in order for the battery to work properly, you need to follow the following principles:
– Do not close the lids of the tank compartments while charging
– Distilled water can be added if the solution level is reduced for uniformity between the flasks
Check the density of the electrolyte solution with a standard density of 1.28g. Do not use electrolyte solution with too high or too low density because it affects the life of the tank.
– Temperature does not exceed 500 degrees Celsius
– Do not charge the battery near an explosion
– After filling is complete, close the lid of the tank and clean it.
Check the oil filter:
Oil filters, hydraulic filters, filter loader, fuel filters and air filters should be changed if the forklift truck is experiencing excessive oil consumption.
Check the drive to move the forklift and the hydraulic motor to drive the lifting mechanism: when detecting abnormal signs or damage, the machine must be stopped and repaired.
Visually inspect the drive shaft while you are under the machine. If there is any damage, it must be rectified immediately.
Inspect the forklift engine belts, check for cracks and scratches on the belts. Visually inspect the forklift exhaust system and look for any cracks or holes in the exhaust system.
Check for signs of wear on the tyres, and the steering cylinders for leaks or bends in the system. If a leak occurs in the hydraulic system you should tighten the oil lines. , close the valves. If there is a shortage of hydraulic oil, add more, or replace it if it cannot be used anymore.
Check the wheel bearings listed on the maintenance checklist. And re-insert the battery and shake it again to see if there are any more unusual noises.
Then clean the car again thoroughly.
Get regular and proper check-ups to ensure your vehicle runs better and is safer.
